I spent yesterday at Mom's house. This is, of course, Grandma Fern on the swing with what else, a cat! I jsut really like this picture of her. Will had a blast getting eggs from the hen house and driving the golf cart. Lainey loved walking all over the house. It was a beautiful day and relaxing too. I've spent today photgraphing my inventory of yarn and knitting projects for my upcoming invitation to ravelry.com. What a cool site. I hope the creators become very successful b/c its such an innovative and useful site.

Its finally Saturday

What a long week. Been getting up at 5:30am and getting home at 7pm with no lunch breaks all week. Work has been crazy and I finally have a few minutes to post something. Here's a picture of Lainey from last weekend. I created a tutorial for making hairbows for some of my friends in an internet 'baby loop' group. Here's a picture of some Halloween bows I made for Lainey Lou Lou!

No updates, I need to get better at this
No updates because its been a busy end of summer. I will post pics soon because who wants to look at a blog without pictures (not that anyone actually reads this blog except me anyway). Will started his first day of school as a first grader on Tuesday. Lainey started walking last month. She's not walking everywhere - just toddling and falling. But it sure is cute!

Tropical Cupcakes! Margarita anyone?

A few pics of some tropical drink inspired cupcakes I made for my neice's birthday! Some green magarita cupcakes complete with sugared rims and a slice of fruit! Some hawaiian flowers I made out of fondant are on the ocean blue ones! And the pink - more sugared fruit and all are topped off with umbrella straws! woo hoo!

Actually finished it!

This is the baby blanket I made for my brother and SIL's baby coming next month! It took me over a year to complete b/c I worked on it here and there when I could. It felt good to finally finish it. Its made from varigated pastel colors and done in a basketweave pattern. I love the way the pattern develops
