Cupcakes from Mother's Day

I just thought I'd share another pic of some cupcakes I made. These were from Mother's Day this year. They were the first ones I made and where I got the idea to make them for Marcie's Shower. I plan to make some decadent chocolate ones with pink icing for my baby shower!

July 4th!

DH raced on July 4th in his redneck go-cart racing series http://arenaracingusa.com. It was really hot - but son Will and I didn't go out until 3:30 p.m. so we were out of the heat most of the day! We watched the fireworks at Town Point Park and enjoyed the breeze off the water there. Will was exhausted by the end of the night and fell asleep on the way home. Lucky him!

Pineapple Cupcakes!

I made some pineapple cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for my sister's wedding shower. I purchased pre-made royal icing flowers at a local cake shop and added them. Cool.
